Beth Litton - Journey's End Refugee Services
Marion Beckerink welcomed Beth Litton, Resettlement Manager - Jamestown Office and Buulo Emmanuel, ONA Immigrant Community Navigator for Journey's End Refugee Services.

Journey's End Refugee Services, Inc. is a Christian community-based organization with the mission of welcoming refugees without regard to ethnic origin or creed and to assist them to become healthy, independent, contributing members of the community.

Journey's End provides refugees with the resources and support they need to become successful, active and contributing members of the Western New York Community.

Beth spoke about the specific services that are available in the Jamestown area and how we have welcomed new refugees to our community.

When refugee clients arrive in Buffalo, they are greeted at the airport by a Journey’s End case manager who has been preparing for their arrival. The case manager is there to make them feel welcome, safe and comfortable in their new home.

Journey's End clients come from a variety of backgrounds and have a range of needs when they arrive. Some arrive fluent in English, with experience living in urban settings and needing only initial support in areas such as employment and registering for school. Others arrive from more rural settings, without any knowledge of English or apartment living. Journey's End provides support, advocacy, and orientation for all clients, no matter the need.
