District Conference Oct. 21, 22, and 23 (WHICH WILL NOW BE ALL VIRTUAL!!!)
Greg Leonard, President of the Greater Jamestown AM Rotary Club invited us to attend their annual Football party honoring Bill Briggs and Tim Grace. It will be held Sunday, Oct. 10 at the Ellicottville Brewing Co. in Bemus Point.
PEDAL FOR POLIO will happen October 24. Jake Schrantz and several others will ride on our behalf for 20-25 miles on flat terrain. All are encouraged to donate. If the district raises $60,000, it will be matched by a Canadian benefactor.
HIGHWAY CLEANUP will be October 9. Meet at the Route 60 pickup area at 8:30.
OCTOBERFEST sponsored by our Club will be celebrated on Oct. 12 at Southern Tier Brewing Company. $25 for admission includes the buffet and two drink tickets. Party is from 5 to 8 pm and children are welcome for games and pumpkin painting. Bill Ward and John Cross will play.
The Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Committee will meet on Oct. 14. Contact Ruth Lundin.
Our club will sponsor Hands on Jamestown Neighborhoods on Oct. 16 at 8AM to clean up between 4th and 8th streets from North Main to Winsor. All hands invited on deck to help out.
