May 16, 2022 - Rotary Meeting

Today’s Chairman: President Kevin Sixbey AND Michelle Jones

Weather: Clearing after a lousy morning, making way for a great afternoon of fellowship!

Visiting Rotarians and Guests:

Melissa Troxell, Pat Sandberg, Barb Horrigan, Almost Member Gene West, Paul Hedberg, Marc Hannon, Jean Lloyd, Denise Roman, New Member Kristin Melville, and others I may have missed.

CONGRATULATIONS TO MICHELLE JONES for organizing this wonderful Rotary meeting! If the weather had co-operated, we would have enjoyed the beauty of the lake…but it was SOOOOO much fun inside, gathered around a huge table, enjoying refreshment of our own choice and discussing anything and everything we wanted. BRAVO!!!!! I have attached spontaneous photos and again, I apologize if I missed anyone such as Kevin and Melissa Meyers.

A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL!

Many thanks to Marian Beckerink for the attached photos of the Battle of the Books, partially sponsored

by our Club and its very active Literacy Committee.

The entire afternoon last Saturday was a huge success at the Jackson Center as 6th thru 8th graders

competed against one another answering questions regarding 12 books that each of them read.
