Foundation Gala will be a virtual event this year (again) on 2/23/2022 at 7:45, our District will have a pre-gala event at 6:45. Members are invited to attend at a cost of $125 ($25 for Polio Plus and $75 for Rotary Foundation). Additional details will be emailed by Joni Blackman soon.

New Member induction - Dewey Jones was accepted into membership. He was proposed by Mark Olson. Dewey is the General Manager for TJs Plumbing and lives in Stockton with his wife and children. Welcome Dewey!

Rotary DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Committee Presentation
VP and Chair of DEI Committee, Ruth Lundin introduce the DEI Committee: Chris Anderson, Marion Beckerink, Joni Blackman, Noah Goodling, Sharon Hamilton, Tori Irgang, Cheri Krull, Sally Martinez and Becky Robbins. A short video presentation was shown, which highlighted our club’s history.
Members broke out into groups and answered the following questions:
  • What surprised you in the video?
  • What can Rotary do to be more inviting?
  • What are some ways a new member can enter a meeting and feel valued?
  • What are some Big Ideas we can try, to be a more diverse, equitable and inclusive group?
  • DEI Committee will be meeting noon tomorrow to review comments.
