Stories
Fancher Chair
L-R John Healy, Gary Henry Sr., Courtney Curatolo
Courtney Curatolo was welcomed to the podium to introduce our speaker Gary Henry Sr. Gary is a native of the area and graduated from Jamestown Community College and also attended Syracuse.

Gary started as the Office Manager at Sterlingworth in 1968, later becoming the Plant Manager. When Fancher purchased Sterlingworth in 1975 he ran the operations for them. He remained the GM until 1986. Gary continues to work part-time to this day.

He started his presentation by thanking Rotary for all of their contributions. He's been involved in Rotary up in Westfield for many years.

A recording of his presentation can be found here beginning at the 22:25 minute mark: https://youtu.be/3X5QoQEV_k4

The majority of his presentation focused on the history of Fancher Chair in Falconer and the furniture industry. Many great questions were also asked by those in attendance.
