The Jones/Yaggie/Burch table with Grant Olson (Team Twinkle Toes) tried hard to win the Trivia but lost in a tie breaker to the Glogg Masters (Megan Sixbey’s table)!

The Social Committee of the Rotary Club of Jamestown, NY provided Club members with a delightful holiday celebration at Venue 31, 31 Main Street Monday evening. The space was decorated with lovely table coverings and perfect Christmas centerpieces to welcome attendees.

President Kevin and Social Chairman Michelle Jones welcomed everyone and introduced us to J.R. Liffner who provided music and led us in our Trivia competition and was it ever fun!
We were thrilled to see Michelle Starwalt, our Asst. District Governor who drove in from Fredonia to join in the festivities and even brought books to help our drive.

President Elect John Healy and his wife managed an evening away from their four sons who are eagerly awaiting Santa’s arrival. Diana Meckley (Literacy Chairman) brought husband Lew to help her carry home boxes of donated books.

Joelle Washer, Tory Irgang and Megan Sixbey entertained Steve Long from Northwest Bank.

Emiliana Blackwood-Head and husband Erick brought friends Christie & Sam to try their luck at the Trivia competition.

Attendees sharpened their pencils in preparation for the Trivia competition and filled their stomachs with food from Vicki’s (Elegant Edibles) wonderful appetizer table.

In addition to cider and coffee, they were testing and voting for their favorite of the five entrees in the Glogg tasting contest.

Mark Olson sneaks a bite of a cookie while Lisa Yaggie and her son Jared answer one of the Trivia questions.

Megan Sixbey was the big winner for the night, taking home a $90 50/50 pot in addition to winning the Trivia Contest.

Prizes were won by: Joelle Washer, Michelle Starwalt, John Lloyd, Bob McGraw, Vicki McGraw, Matt Jones, and Diana Meckley. Vicki was the winner of the GLOGG tasting contest – deliciously smooth.

The BIG WINNER for the night was the Literacy Committee with lots and lots of books. If you didn’t make the party and have books to donate, please bring them to the next Rotary meeting. We need lots of books to fill our mini laundromat libraries.

Happy Holidays everyone!
