Social Committee announces Farch happening on March 21st at Moonbrook from 6-8 pm with a St Patrick's Day theme.  Cost will be $25/person.

Jose Quinones-Visot - Cultural Responsiveness
Jose was born in Puerto Rico. He was raised in Puerto Rico and Miami, FL. He is a giving, creative and passionate servant leader. He holds a Master’s degree from Neumann University in Organizational and Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management from Temple University.
 
 
Jose is also a Certified Professional Life Coach through the International Coaching Federation and most recently he achieved a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida. Jose re-located from
Orlando, FL to Silver Creek, NY to become the Cultural Outreach and Engagement Coordinator & Training Facilitator for Chautauqua County Department of Mental Hygiene and their system of care initiative, Chautauqua Tapestry. His focus was training organizations and the community on Cultural Competence while building relationships. In this role, Jose also provided training in mental health, suicide prevention, and Youth Mental Health First Aid.
 
Jose now is a Graduate Student Researcher, and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion consultant/trainer. He loves doing training and his favorite training is Cultural Competence. His experience in the hospitality industry provided him with his foundation and love for exceptional customer service and his work within Diversity, Equity and inclusion started. With his new passion, Jose is the co-founder of Guided by Giving, LLC providing training on Cultural Competence, DEI, Motivation, and Leadership. He provides outreach consultation as well as individual, couple and group life coaching. Finally, please add Jose to your prayers as he is a PhD. Student in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change from the University of the Virgin Islands.
