Greg Edwards represented the Chadakoin River Development in part with the Gebbie Foundation. The success of the first urban design plan has prompted a new plan, Urban Design plan 2.0. The focus is now in and around the river basin of the Chadakoin River.

The goals are to increase the use of the basin for kayaking, paddle boarding and other non-motorized boating activities. The supporting use of the parklands can also lend to festivals, performances, events, and celebrations. This new plan is becoming our own Jamestown version of the Buffalo CanalSide, with the goal of creating a destination that can be enjoyed and leveraged for economic development.

A donation was made in Greg’s name to help vaccinate children against polio.
