Michelle Jones was honored for SERVICE ABOVE SELF to the Rotary Club of Jamestown by John Healy, Immediate Past President at the Club’s recent awards banquet.

Michelle has been a member of the Club for over 10 years and has served on the fundraising committee, the Youth Services Committee, the Social Committee and is a member of the Board of Directors and she is a recipient of a Paul Harris Fellow Award. She and her family have been hosts of foreign exchange students in the past as well.

Currently serving as Social Committee Chairman, Healy noted Jones had done an amazing job of planning, organizing, and managing the Club’s social activities for the past two years all without spending any money from the social budget, with the events covering the cost. Social outings are an important part of Rotary, providing an opportunity to gather outside formal meetings to build camaraderie and friendship.

Michelle is Vice President and Area Manager of Northwest Bank. She is married to Matthew Jones and they are the parents of two adult daughters and a granddaughter.
